If you want a laid back atmosphere in which you can actually hold a conversation, strong drinks and an eclectic group of people, then Catbirds is your place. It's a dive bar. Catbirds plays some nice old Jazz and even some 1950's music. They rarely play hard-core Jazz.
Its a dive bar. As such, Catbirds has not paid particular attention to their interior decor or the paint in their wall. But that’s fine. The drinks are strong and affordable. The music is not irritating and overly loud. There is interesting people watching to be done if you are so inclined and the bartenders are quite attentive. |
