Lola's is one of the straight up dive bars in Montrose - cheap and tasty drinks, decent pool tables, and awesome music machine. Never mind the interior design, this is, after all, a dive bar. It's dark and grungy here but relaxed and fun. The bartenders are like family. They will greet you at the bar, keep you going all night with drinks and stories.
This is the ultimate dive bar. When you walk through the doors, you are transported into another world. The bar is small, dark, lacking any windows and the black painted walls may scare at first, but let go of the feeling and only then can you enjoy some of Houston's interesting characters.
